Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee general accounting functions, ensuring compliance with internal and external policies.
  • Manage the annual budgeting process, including pricing strategies and cash flow management.

  • Oversee project invoicing, payments, and financial reporting for project managers.
  • Manage credit and collections to optimize cash flow.

  • Manage tax liabilities and ensure timely reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration with a focus on accounting; professional certification is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting, particularly in the construction sector.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Buildertrend and Smartsheet is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and negotiate effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage with diverse audiences.
  • Demonstrated work ethic and accountability, with a positive and collaborative attitude.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.
