We are seeking a skilled Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at Childrens Hospital Of The Kings Daughter. As a Psychiatric Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our psychiatric services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, provide, and monitor individualized psychiatric and medical nursing care for patients.
  • Develop and implement developmentally appropriate psychosocial and clinical care plans.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Current Virginia state license as a Registered Nurse or Registered Nurse holding a valid Compact State license.
  • CPR Training required and/or must be obtained within 45 days of hire.
  • PALS preferred.
  • RN certification preferred.
  • Associates in Nursing/Diploma in Nursing with applicable experience, however a BSN is preferred.
  • Experience in both pediatric medical and psychiatric settings preferred.
  • Pediatric experience preferred.
Working Conditions

Expected to work in a patient care environment with minimal exposure to environmental hazards.
