Ultrasound Technologist Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Job Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Ultrasound Technologist to work in our radiology department. As a travel Ultrasound Technologist, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound procedures on patients, including abdominal, obstetric, and vascular exams
  • Operate ultrasound equipment, including scanners and printers
  • Develop and maintain patient records, including medical history and exam results
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency
Requirements
  • One to three years of experience as an Ultrasound Technologist
  • Current certification in ultrasound technology
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
