We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Engineer III to join our team at Trane Technologies in La Crosse, WI. As a key member of our manufacturing organization, you will design and develop manufacturing processes and systems that exceed quality, cost, and schedule requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze current production processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize line flow and reduce bottlenecks
- Lead 5S initiatives to create and maintain organized, clean, and efficient workspaces
- Ensure processes are standardized and that teams adhere to established standards
- Conduct time and motion studies to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Facilitate Kaizen events and other Lean activities to drive continuous improvement
- Train and mentor employees on Lean principles, 5S, and standard work practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and sustain Lean initiatives
- Develop and maintain documentation, including process maps, standard work instructions, and training materials
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for further improvement
- Bachelor's degree required
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Project Management and AutoCad experience is required
- Knowledge and demonstrated ability to implement Lean-Six Sigma processes
- Aptitude for mechanical/electrical application as related to equipment/processes
