Job Summary:
Tate Branch Hobbs is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. As a Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, selling dealership products and services, and coordinating with the Service Manager to meet sales quotas and goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
- Sell dealership products and services to customers, including warranty and pre-paid service plans
- Coordinate with the Service Manager to set and meet sales quotas and goals
- Utilize time effectively to meet customer needs and solicit sales
- Consistently use established procedures to complete sales and repair paperwork correctly and on time
- Effectively use the computerized system to keep it current and meet profit goals
- Actively develop prospects and demonstrate the advantages of products and services compared to other brands and dealerships
- Cross-sell accessories, additional parts, products, repair service, and miscellaneous offerings
- Deal with customer complaints in a sensible manner and show empathy and a pleasant attitude
- Ensure customers receive consistent treatment by following documented procedures
- Conduct telephone transactions courteously and promptly
- Utilize a consistent quotation process for sales
- Consistently contact customers to promote additional sales and customer satisfaction
- Analyze progress to maximize efficiency and maintain high quality of repairs
- Delegate jobs to technicians as appropriate and effectively utilize current resources
- Produce accurate estimates for wreck and internal repairs
- Provide cashier transactions when needed
- Adhere to procedures for timely and proficient dealing of warranty items
- Become familiar and proficient with all phases of the computer system needed for parts and service management
- Start and finalize repair orders for warranty, customer paid, and internal repair
- Sell supplementary services by notifying customers of service specials or additional work required
- Notify customers promptly regarding any delays, changes, or additional work required
- Give special attention to repeat repairs to ensure the issue is corrected
Requirements:
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
- Professional personal appearance
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to meet company's production and quality standards
- Physical requirements: spend time indoors in air-conditioned areas, sit on a regular basis, stand on a regular basis, walk on a regular basis, bend, twist, and/or stoop on a regular basis, kneel and/or squat on a regular basis, lift over 50 lbs infrequently, reach and/or lift overhead on a regular basis, climb stairs, repetitive hand/finger movement on a regular basis, grasp/grab with hands on a regular basis, push and pull on a regular basis
Working Conditions:
Work evening, weekend, and holiday work hours as required
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a sales and service environment preferred
