Financial Advisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Consultant to join our team at New York Life - Albuquerque Region. As a Financial Consultant, you will be responsible for providing expert financial guidance and advice to our clients, helping them achieve their long-term financial goals.

• Financial Planning: Synthesize and present financial recommendations and strategies that are suitable based on client risk tolerance and financial objectives.
• Client Acquisition: Identify, seek, and establish prospects continuously and create strong relationships with new clients as their trusted advisor.
• Customized Financial Plans: Design customized financial plans suitable for each client based on potential life changes and changing financial needs.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to existing clients; track and monitor communications in the client file, including strategies and financial advice given.
• Financial Analysis: Compile each client's financial information to determine financial goals, financial status, cash flow, and financial expectations.

• Experience: Previous success in financial services as a financial planner, personal financial advisor, financial analyst, or financial consultant is needed.
• Qualifications: CPA license, or CFP (Certified Financial Planner license from Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards) and FINRA Series 7 and 66, are required.
• Skills: Experience with computer programs, such as MS Office, Google Suite, CRM systems, and financial planning software is essential.
• Education: A Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or a related field is required.

• Desired Skills: 4-year College Degree (Recommended), accomplished communicator with strong verbal and written skills, prior sales and/or business experience preferred, business mindset, strong desire to help others.
