Petroleum Operations Coordinator

Petroleum supply specialists play a crucial role in the U.S. Army by supervising and managing the reception, storage, and shipping of bulk or packaged petroleum-based products.
Responsibilities- Receive, stock, and issue bulk and packaged products.
- Select and submit samples for laboratory testing.
- Perform accounting duties for petroleum and water products.
- Operate equipment used in petroleum distribution systems.
To be eligible for this position, you must:
- Be between 17-34 years old.
- Hold a GED or high school diploma.
- Be a U.S. citizen or green cardholder.
- Meet Army height and weight standards.
As a petroleum supply specialist, you'll receive training in basic combat skills and advanced individual training with on-the-job instructions. You'll learn essential skills like operating airplane refueling systems, planning petroleum transport, and testing oil and fuels.
