At US Foods, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and penetrate new markets. This exciting role will focus on developing and executing business strategies to capture and retain high-potential customers within the company's footprint.

Salary and Benefits

The expected base rate for this role is between $75,000-$120,000 per annum, with opportunities for commissions based on performance. In addition to a competitive salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.

Job Description

This challenging yet rewarding role requires the ability to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing business plans to penetrate new markets and increase sales revenue
  • Identifying and qualifying high-potential customers, building rapport, and closing deals
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create and implement effective sales strategies
  • Maintaining accurate records of customer interactions, sales data, and market trends
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales experience, preferably in the foodservice industry
  • Exceptional sales and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of success in building and maintaining relationships
  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, with a strong understanding of business principles and practices
