Job Title: Surgical Technologist

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team for a travel assignment in a top healthcare facility.

Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist will assist the clinical staff in preparing the operating rooms for surgical procedures, participate in the surgical team, and provide patient care necessary for comfort, hygiene, and simple treatments.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare the operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.
  • Assist the surgical team in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide patient care, including vital sign monitoring, wound care, and simple treatments.
  • Communicate effectively with the surgical team, including physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • 18 months of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
  • High School Diploma or Completion of accredited Operating Room Technologist course or equivalent training.
  • BLS Certified and National Certification required.
  • Ability to demonstrate dexterity in the use of surgical instruments and knowledge of the step-by-step procedure for various surgical cases.
