Key ResponsibilitiesRole Summary
The Outpatient Rehabilitation Specialist is accountable for assessing and treating patients. This role involves conducting patient evaluations, creating and executing tailored treatment plans, delivering therapeutic services, and managing comprehensive discharge processes.
Focus Areas
The primary focus will be on orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation.
QualificationsEducation / Credentials:
• A degree in physical therapy (BS/MS/DPT) is mandatory.
• A DPT degree is preferred.
• A valid physical therapy license from the Kentucky State Board is required.
Certifications
• CPR and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association are required.
Experience:
• Preferred experience in orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation for outpatient roles.
• Acute care physical therapy experience is necessary for acute care positions.
