About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team at Sovah Health - Martinsville. As a Registered Nurse in our ICU, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill patients, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current VA (or Multi-state) RN license.
  • A nursing degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Experience in clinical area preferred.
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
  • American Heart Association ACLS certification within 6 months of hire.
