We are a leading specialty grocery retailer dedicated to providing our guests with an exceptional shopping experience. Our mission is to make everyday eating extraordinary, and we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Store Manager to join our team.

Job Summary

The Store Manager is responsible for leading our store team to deliver exceptional guest service, drive sales growth, and maintain a high level of operational excellence. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong passion for retail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Service and Sales: Educate team members and guests on products and services to provide convenient meal solutions, drive sales growth, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: Work with Department Managers and Assistant Store Manager to ensure that all key operational processes and merchandising plans are consistently executed, and that the store is maintained in a clean and safe environment.
  • Team Development: Forecast and maintain store teams by collaborating with Talent Acquisition in the sourcing, selecting, and hiring of new team members, and provide coaching and development opportunities to Assistant Managers and team members.
  • Inventory Management: Manage the store, inventories, and teams for minimization of product loss, and ensure that inventory levels are maintained at optimal levels.
  • Community Engagement: Engage with the local community through weekly sales, special promotions, and other initiatives to drive sales growth and increase brand awareness.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 5 years of experience as a retail store manager in a relevant traffic, volume, and unit intensity environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proven oral and written communication skills that allow for productive communication with team members, management, and guests.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow policies and procedures, as well as planograms, layouts, and schematics of the department for merchandising.
Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • Perishable, Hospitality, and/or Grocery Retail experience.
  • Production Planning Software experience.
  • Experience in Applicant Tracking Software (iCIMS preferred).
Physical and Work Conditions

This role requires:

  • Repetitive hand/arm movements, grasping, bending, reaching, ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 pounds by oneself.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to use tools and equipment, including knives, ladders, stepstools, box cutters, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
  • Long periods of standing or walking without a break.
