As a key member of the city's leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing various departments, including General Administration, Community Services, Finance, Fire, Facilities Maintenance, Police, Public Utilities, and Public Works.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the daily operations of the city, working closely with the City Council and Mayor to develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Oversee the management of city departments, including budget preparation and management, staff supervision, and coordination with outside agencies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community stakeholders, including residents, businesses, and local organizations.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the city's leadership team, ensuring the effective delivery of services and programs.
  • Collaborate with other government agencies and organizations to advance the city's interests and goals.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, with a Master's degree or Certified Public Manager credentialing preferred.
  • At least 10 years of progressive public administration experience, with 3 years in a City Manager or Assistant City Manager role, or equivalent experience.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
