Electrical Controls Engineer

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a PLC Programmer at Miller-Leaman, Inc. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading manufacturer of stainless steel filtration, purification, and disinfection systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop electrical and electronic subsystems using OEM components
- Program PLCs to meet customer and contract requirements
- Specify OEM power supplies, PLCs, controllers, sensors, motion control, automation, and other components
- Create BOMs, assembly drawings, schematics, component specifications, and work instructions
- Develop and improve documentation for electrical/electronic controls, software, and technical manuals
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to provide integrated electro-mechanical designs
Preferred Qualifications:
- PLC programming experience (Function Block & Ladder Logic)
- Electronic controls design and development (Crouzet, Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc)
- Producing electrical/electronic designs from basic engineering P&ID's
- Familiarity with UL501A Industrial Control Panel standards
- Pressure, flow, level sensors
- CAD software, Solidworks or equivalent
- Circuit board design and specification
- Working with low and medium voltage power systems, AC and DC industrial power circuits
- Working with 50/60 hz systems, grounded and un-grounded systems
- Bachelor's Degree in electrical engineering or related field
