Job Description

As a Customer Relations Representative, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience and building lasting relationships with our clients. Your primary goal will be to create a positive and welcoming environment that reflects the values of State Farm while driving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Engagement: Serve as the first point of contact for customers, welcoming them to the agency and ensuring they receive outstanding service.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their insurance and financial needs, providing personalized solutions.
  • Problem Resolution: Address customer inquiries and concerns in a timely manner, resolving issues efficiently to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Follow-Up: Proactively follow up with clients to ensure their needs are met and to gather feedback on their experience with our services.
  • Sales Support: Assist the agent in identifying opportunities for cross-selling and upselling insurance products and services.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the agent and team members to develop and implement customer service strategies that align with the agency's goals.
  • Administrative Duties: Perform administrative tasks related to customer accounts, including data entry, record keeping, and policy renewals.
  • Community Engagement: Participate in community events and initiatives to promote the agency and foster relationships within the community.
Qualifications
  • Ability to handle high-stress situations calmly.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in customer service, sales, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to customer service.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and customer relationship management (CRM) software.
  • Knowledge of insurance products and services is a plus; required to obtain necessary licenses.
