OverviewNationwide Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Ambulatory Patient Access Rep to join our team. As a key member of our patient access department, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless patient registration and scheduling processes.
Responsibilities- Provide excellent customer service to patients and families by applying best practices and standard operating procedures.
- Interview and register patients in registration areas that report up through Patient Access.
- Obtain accurate demographic, insurance, and physician information on registrations.
- Screen customer data to ensure patient eligibility for insurance.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's Degree preferred.
- One year of healthcare experience preferred.
