The Department of Emergency Medicine at MD Anderson Cancer Center is looking for a highly qualified physician to join our academic department. As a board-prepared or board-certified physician, you will have the opportunity to support the development of oncologic emergency medicine as a distinct sub-discipline.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care in oncologic emergencies
- Supervise and educate medical students, residents, and fellows
- Contribute to the development of oncologic emergency medicine as a distinct sub-discipline
- Completed M.D. degree in an accredited medical school or equivalent
- Completed residency training in an approved American Residency Program or equivalent
- Board certification in Emergency Medicine or Internal Medicine (or foreign equivalent if applicable)
- At least 2 years of experience as an Instructor or 5 years post-degree with any combination of time as a clinician, clinical scientist, or GME trainee
- Target base salary of $320,557 to $362,203
- Incentive compensation
- Comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits
- Relocation support, as applicable
