Bakery Specialist

As a Bakery Specialist at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales in the bakery department. Your primary responsibility will be to create visually appealing and delicious baked goods that meet the high standards of our customers.

• Be a Team Player: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Be an Expert Baker: Plan and execute bakery productions, ensuring consistency in quality and accuracy of bakery decorative designs. Follow recipe measurement instructions and work with a variety of products to create decorative flowers and lettering on bakery items.
• Be a Tech-Savvy Baker: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement. Utilize handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, merchandise ordering, training, and product quality.
• Be an Owner of Quality: Drive the performance of the bakery area, ensuring quality and date control standards. Eliminate waste and prepare for seasonal events that impact the bakery volume.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Model high-quality service and products, interact with associates to understand roadblocks, and assist in training. Develop, influence, and inspire associates to work in a style that is respectful, supportive, and team-oriented.

• 6 months' experience in a fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to successfully complete all job required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period.
