Position: Rehabilitative Therapy Assistant

Key Responsibilities

Core Duties of the Rehabilitative Therapy Assistant:
  • Support the assessment of clients' daily living skills and capabilities to identify strengths and limitations
  • Assist patients throughout all stages of therapy treatments, including exercise guidance, manual therapy methods, daily living activities, and Isokinetic programs
  • Monitor patients during therapy sessions and relay observations to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Collaborate with colleagues and other healthcare professionals to share, discuss, and evaluate patient information for effective treatment planning and coordination
Qualifications

Required Experience and Skills for the Rehabilitative Therapy Assistant Role:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program is mandatory
  • Valid and unrestricted Physical Therapist Assistant License is required
