Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Specialist to join our team at Surgery Partners. As a critical care professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care to medical/surgical patients requiring advanced monitoring.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients needing advanced monitoring, including operating advanced medical equipment such as central lines, multiple IVs, and patients requiring ventilatory support.
  • Care for general medical and surgical patients on the in-patient unit, assessing and implementing established policies and procedures with minimal supervision.
  • Act as a clinical leader, assisting with precepting staff and providing direction to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, housekeeping staff, dietary staff, and other allied services.
  • Collaborate with providers, charge nurses, supervisors, and the chief nursing officer to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • Recent experience in critical care nursing, with a focus on advanced nursing principles and procedures.
  • Current State of Montana RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS, EPNC, TNCC certification preferred.
