Nursing Program Recruitment Specialist

As a key member of the University of Providence admissions team, the Nursing Program Recruitment Specialist will play a vital role in developing and executing targeted recruitment plans for nursing programs. This includes identifying and connecting with prospective students in nursing-rich areas, guiding them through the admissions process, and managing the nursing enrollment pipeline from inquiry to enrollment.
The ideal candidate will have prior successful experience in education, sales, admissions, health care, or recruitment, with a strong understanding of the college athletic recruitment process. A bachelor's degree is required, and experience with private, Catholic, liberal arts education is preferred.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Developing and executing targeted recruitment plans for nursing programs
- Identifying and connecting with prospective students in nursing-rich areas
- Managing the nursing enrollment pipeline from inquiry to enrollment
- Providing comprehensive information on admissions, financial aid, programs, and student life to prospective nursing students
- Collaborating with admissions and athletics to implement the recruitment plan, events calendar, and assigned activities
- Traveling to regional and national nursing recruitment events
- Building relationships with community colleges, clinics, and high school counselors to strengthen nursing pipelines
- Offering one-on-one guidance on applications, financial aid, and scholarships
- Maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
- Tracking and reporting data on nursing recruitment efforts
- Conducting engaging campus visits for prospective students
- Seeking out and sharing current campus information from faculty and staff with prospective students
