About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment to identify potential issues and prevent downtime.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure optimal equipment performance and extend its lifespan.
  • Diagnose and repair production machinery and other equipment as needed, using a variety of hand and power tools.
  • Keep accurate records of maintenance performed on all equipment and systems.
  • Oversee contractors when professional repairs are necessary and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Promote safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Facilities, Maintenance, and Safety.
Requirements
  • Maintenance experience and a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and power tools, including precision measuring instruments and electronic testing devices.
  • Ability to interpret repair manuals and diagnose complex problems.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high sense of urgency and follow-through abilities.
  • Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment is preferred.
