Job Summary

Under the direction of the Medical Director of the Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine Clinic, the Certified Hyperbaric Technologist Coordinator will oversee daily hyperbaric operations, mechanical maintenance of hyperbaric chamber equipment, coordinate hyperbaric and technical duties performed by the Certified Hyperbaric Technologist, and provide leadership to CHT in manager's absence.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily hyperbaric operations and ensure safe and efficient treatment of patients
  • Maintain and repair hyperbaric chamber equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
  • Coordinate hyperbaric and technical duties performed by the Certified Hyperbaric Technologist
  • Provide leadership to CHT in manager's absence, ensuring continuity of care and operations
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine
  • Completed an approved Undersea and Hyperbaric Medical Society (UHMS) or National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology (NBDHMT) course
  • Current certification as a Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) by the NBDHMT
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Infection Control, clinic and safety competencies as required by the institution
