Medical Oncology ICU Nurse Manager Opportunity

Role OverviewThis full-time (100% FTE, 40 hours per week), night shift ASSISTANT NURSE MANAGER position at the Medical Oncology ICU provides a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care.
Responsibilities- Establish credibility as a leader of day-to-day operations
- Oversee staffing to ensure optimal patient care
- Provide leadership for clinical and administrative functions
- Develop and maintain effective work processes to ensure successful department function
- Promote effective communication among staff and patients
- Identify staff and resource problems and take necessary steps toward problem resolutions
- 2 years of current or ICU nursing experience
- Previous charge, lead, or supervisory nursing experience
- An active Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington
- BLS certification
- Previous work experience in ICU medical and/or oncology nursing
This role offers an estimated salary range of $84,032 - $147,920 per year, plus additional compensation opportunities. A comprehensive benefits package is also available, including overtime pay, evening premium, night premium, and weekend premium.
In addition to base pay, this position may be eligible for:
- $10,000 sign-on bonus (UW Medicine Employees not eligible)
- BSN (or higher) premium - $1.00/hour
- Certification premium - $1.25/hour
- Evening premium - $2.50/hour
- Night premium - $4.50/hour
- Weekend premium - $4.00/hour
- Overtime pay
