Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Packaging Associate 2nd Shift to join our team at Altium Packaging. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate packaging of materials and finished products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate packaging equipment and load, move, and package materials and finished products.
  • Monitor conveyor belts and clear bottle jams from lines.
  • Pick up dropped bottles from the production floor and place them into designated bins.
  • Inspect the quality of bottles during production, packaging, and labeling.
  • Perform bottle inspections, such as drop tests for designated lines.
  • Escalate all bottle abnormalities, defects, and quality issues when found.
  • Monitor supply levels of packaging materials and replenish as needed.
  • Ensure correct labeling, bottle description, and packaging of product in accordance with specific customer requirements.
  • Move finished goods to designated areas.
  • Ensure efficient setup and organization of workstations.
Requirements
  • Basic mathematical skills are required.
  • Basic computer experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts in a production environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Temperatures inside the plant can fluctuate between hot and cold according to seasonal changes. Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required in the production department and other designated areas.
