Critical Care Nurse

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Dunn Loring, Virginia. As a member of our Trauma Acute Care team, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to work in our Trauma Acute Care unit. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care and a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to trauma patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs, medications, and treatments.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and unit performance.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Virginia or privilege to practice in the State of Virginia under the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification from the American Heart Association required upon start.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in acute care setting.
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If RN has an Associates Degree (ADN); must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
