Job SummaryThe Principal Engineer - UI is a key role in our Functions Technology team, responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. This role requires a strong technical leader who can lead applications systems analysis and programming activities, collaborate with customer Business Analysts & SMEs, and perform technical review and resolve any technical challenges.

- Responsible for Components Design, Construction & Unit Testing of assigned components/modules.
- Perform technical review and resolve any technical challenges.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies and test-driven development practices.
- Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions.
- Serve as mentor or coach to new or mid-level developers.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI development, with hands-on experience in designing and developing applications using Angular 14 and above version. They will be proficient in JavaScript, Typescript, CSS 3, SCSS, HTML 5, ES6+, and have experience with reactive programming concepts and RxJs (Observables). Additionally, they will have experience with Micro Front End (MFE) architecture using webpack module federation, NGRX, and good knowledge of SOLID and component design principles.
The candidate will also have experience with Unit Testing (Jasmine, Karma, Jest) and E2E Testing (Protractor, Cypress), as well as experience with Agile (Scrum) and good coding standards. They will have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, and be able to establish priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
Minimum of 8+ years of UI development experience and 3+ years experience with leading cross-functional Angular teams are required. Excellent communication skills and a problem-solving attitude are essential for this role.
EducationBachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience is required.
