About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Cement Mason to join our team at Atkinson Construction. As a union contractor, we work closely with local labor unions to ensure that our craft workers are highly skilled and dedicated to their craft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chipping and patching concrete surfaces
  • Setting and removing forms, including catch basin structures and drain inlets
  • Setting screeds and screed pins
  • Cutting, scoring, and sawing new concrete
  • Plugging and filling Shee-Bolt holes
  • Dry packing concrete and EMBECO
  • Tending material hoses and mixer-truck chutes
  • Bush hammering and patching
  • Roddng, tamping, and operating bid well and similar machines
  • Bull floating and other cement mason tasks

Supervisory Responsibilities:

The Cement Mason Foreman will supervise a crew of three or more Cement Masons, coordinating and scheduling their work to ensure efficient project completion.
