Bristol Bay Native is seeking a highly skilled Master Diver/Diver First Class to support operations in a dynamic and challenging environment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise in diving operations, equipment maintenance, and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical Operations: Assist in the operation and maintenance of diving equipment, boats, and outboard motors, and provide technical expertise in diving operations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Administer daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual maintenance requirements for assigned diving related equipment, including 3M system maintenance.
- Inventory Management: Conduct inventories of Special Tactics diving equipment, watercraft, and engines.
- Calibration and Testing: Schedule calibration of all diving related gauges and special instruments, and contract hydrostatic testing of SCUBA and oxygen bottles.
- Boat Maintenance: Maintain and repair assigned boats, outboard engines, and other related equipment in the most economical way possible.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain and update regulations, publications, and directives required by Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) and the Naval Safety Center pertaining to waterborne operations.
- Training and Development: Provide training and guidance on equipment capabilities and maintenance requirements, and work to resolve maintenance problems.
- Reporting and Administration: Maintain the Naval Safety Center Dive/Jump Reporting System, provide quality assurance inspection of dive related information, and submit timely reports.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certifications: DoD certified Master Diver or Diver First Class.
- Experience: Three (3) years of experience in US Navy recompression chamber operation, high-pressure air systems, and underwater breathing equipment and support systems.
- Skills: Knowledge of US Navy dive regulations, MAJCOM and USAF regulatory guidelines, and ability to read blueprints and schematic drawings.
- Travel: Ability to travel as the mission dictates.
- Certifications: Ability to produce dive related certifications and/or obtain certification within probationary period.
- Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
