We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artisan to join our kitchen brigade at The Vanderbilt. As a key player in our culinary team, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise and creativity in crafting an unforgettable dining experience for our patrons.

• Convert recipes and standard measurements to daily requirements, ensuring precision and consistency in our culinary offerings.
• Assist senior culinary staff with a positive and self-motivating attitude, contributing to a collaborative and efficient kitchen environment.
• Check function sheets, restaurant requisitions, and special requests to prepare a list of tasks to be accomplished, ensuring seamless execution of our culinary operations.
• Practice good stock rotation, storage, and handling of goods to minimize waste and spoilage, maintaining a high level of quality and efficiency in our kitchen.
• Keep the working area clean at all times, adhering to all health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards, and ensuring a clean and safe environment for our team members and guests.
• Order supplies as necessary by initiating requisitions and fill out Engineering work orders as needed to maintain the best possible physical plant, ensuring a well-maintained and efficient kitchen environment.

• Formal training or education in culinary arts, with a strong focus on precision and detail.
• One year of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
