About the Role
This position involves providing direct patient care, leadership, and safe nursing practices. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Additionally, they will participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive work environment through mentorship and education.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, adhering to established policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account patient preferences and needs.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and safety.
- Serve as a preceptor and mentor to new graduate nurses, promoting professional growth and development.
Requirements
- Baccalaureate in Nursing degree (preferred).
- 1 year of medical-surgical experience (required).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Rhode Island or eligibility under the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement.
