Position Overview

As an integral part of our academic team, the Undergraduate Chemistry Instructor is responsible for delivering educational experiences in the general education core, health studies, and professional courses. This role supports the mission and objectives of the institution while operating under the guidance of the Academic Dean and Program Chair.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creates an engaging learning atmosphere that promotes critical thinking, exploration, self-directed learning, and appreciation for individual differences.
  • Maintains a professional presence in the field by staying updated on current trends, challenges, and practices.
Qualifications and Experience

Educational Background

Preferred: A doctoral degree from an accredited institution in a relevant teaching or professional discipline, with at least eighteen (18) graduate semester hours in the specific teaching area. Alternatively, a doctorate in a related field with a terminal degree or certification in the professional discipline.

Experience

Preferred: A minimum of three (3) years of post-secondary teaching experience in the discipline.
