Primary Duties of the Tax Specialist:
- Tax Compliance and Strategy: Deliver thorough tax services, including the preparation and submission of personal and corporate tax filings.
- Client Relations: Foster and strengthen client partnerships through exceptional service and support, ensuring timely and precise tax submissions.
- Tax Consultation: Provide insightful tax guidance to clients to enhance their tax positions and guarantee adherence to current tax regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
Qualifications for the Tax Specialist:
- Experience: Demonstrated experience as an accountant with a focus on tax, ideally within a comparable firm.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline. CPA certification is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Skills:
- Thorough understanding of tax legislation and guidelines.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Strong communication skills for effective client engagement.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Location Requirement: Candidates should be local to the Lexington, KY area or planning to relocate independently. Relocation assistance is not available.
