About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Human Resource Specialist to join our team at Target. As a key member of our HR team, you will be responsible for providing technical and administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of our distribution centers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and administrative support to the HR team, including maintaining employee records, administering employment orientation, and ensuring compliance with Federal and State employment regulations and company policy.
  • Support the staffing needs of the distribution center by ensuring our teams are set up for employee orientation, and assisting with the execution of cyclical processes, workers compensation, payroll, and record keeping.
  • Ensure our compensation and benefits programs are executed timely, and assist with any questions or concerns from team members.
  • Assist with employee training programs, ensuring they are executed in a timely manner, and that there is accurate record of regulatory and corporate trainings.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, and use information and close partnership with leaders to build the teams that achieve their specific business goals.
About You
  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent experience, and at least 1 year of administrative experience.
  • You are proficient in word processing, spreadsheets, and computer systems, and have strong customer/client service skills and ability to communicate with all levels of organization.
  • You are able to work with highly confidential information, and take initiative to make fair and consistent decisions that align with our strategy and values.
  • You are a flexible team player, who can easily adapt to change, and have the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks accurately and on time.
