Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Social Studies Teacher to join our team at St. Bernard High School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching World & US History, Government, and Economics to high school students.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to meet the needs of all learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Social Studies department goals and the school mission
- Effectively communicate with students, parents, and school personnel
- Manage multiple tasks and complete them by due dates
- Maintain accurate files and records
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- Teaching credential in Social Studies (preferred)
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with diverse student populations
