Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team at Texas Health Resources. As an Interventional Radiologic Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Interventional Radiology department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and recognize patients' emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive, and psychosocial conditions.
  • Explain procedures to patients or guardians/family members prior to exams.
  • Position patients to correct anatomical areas of interest.
  • Adjust technical factors and operate, care for, and maintain equipment.
  • Maintain and enhance technical skills and technology advancements.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Applied Science or completion of an accredited program in radiologic or cardiovascular technology.
  • 1 year of experience preferred, 2 years with a high school diploma required.
  • IR or Cath Lab experience is preferred.
  • ARRT, RCIS, or RCES certification upon hire.
  • BCLS certification prior to providing independent patient care.
