Medical Assistant OBGYN Specialist

Baptist Health is seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join their OBGYN practice in Bardstown, KY. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless patient experience from arrival to departure.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage patient flow and coordinate with providers to ensure efficient care delivery
Proactively review patient records and obtain missing information to maintain accurate medical records
Capture vital signs, medical history, and medication usage upon patient arrival
Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate confidential databases
Basic Life Support certification and advanced training as required
Prior experience in a medical office or clinic, or certification as a Medical Assistant
Ability to complete an MA orientation and externship, and any additional training required by the Provider
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
Commitment to providing exceptional patient care and supporting clinical excellence
