We are seeking a skilled Multicraft Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at Kellanova's Zanesville plant. As a key member of our Reliability team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage machine performance by responding to equipment breakdowns, electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and conducting Break Down Elimination on failures.
- Perform equipment inspections, lubrication, oil analysis, IR Electrical imaging, Ultra-sonic testing, Motor Amp readings, temperature measurements, and time-based rebuilds.
- Understand, follow, and enforce all established safety, health, and quality procedures to drive forward production.
- Establish rapport with business partners across the plant floor to solve problems with a strong sense of urgency and a common goal.
- Effective communication, basic computer software knowledge, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Sitting, standing, walking, lifting (50lbs), and/or repetitive tasks throughout the day.
- Previous experience as a mechanic in a food manufacturing setting.
- Experience in troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance on packaging and processing equipment.
- Skills working with electronic controls, PLC's, VFD's, Servo Motors.
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Previous metal fabrication and/or machining experience.
