About the Role

This position requires a strong knowledge of outpatient billing criteria and excellent documentation and communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in social work or a related field and be licensed as an independent practitioner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide face-to-face patient care hours per week, either in-office or via virtual visit
  • Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans with patient involvement
  • Coordinate higher levels of care for patients with severe mental health conditions or substance use disorders
  • Provide individual, group, family, couples, and crisis counseling as needed
  • Document patient care thoroughly and accurately in electronic medical records
Requirements
  • Master's degree in social work or related field
  • Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) or Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor (LISW-S)
  • Three years of experience in behavioral health setting with expertise in current psychotherapeutic techniques, theories, and practices
