Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate School Psychologist to join our team for the upcoming school year in Aurora, IL. The successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to create a positive educational environment and address the psychological and emotional needs of students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Psycho-Educational Assessments: Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for students to identify areas of strength and need.
  • IEP Development: Collaborate with teachers and other school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans that cater to the unique needs of students.
  • Counseling and Intervention Services: Provide targeted counseling and intervention services to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral issues.
  • Consultation and Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop effective strategies for learning and behavior management.
  • Mental Health Initiatives: Support the development and implementation of school-wide programs and initiatives aimed at promoting mental health and well-being.
  • Confidentiality and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential student records in compliance with state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and consultation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary based on experience and qualifications ($85,000 - $110,000 per year).
