The Lead Financial Accountant delivers essential accounting support.
This role necessitates advanced experience in accounting for construction projects, meticulous attention to detail, and proficiency in general corporate accounting operations.
This position will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer.Key Responsibilities:
Accurately record costs and revenues for each project.
Prepare and post journal entries.
Assist in the creation of monthly financial reports.
Conduct bank and other general ledger account reconciliations.
Support annual audits and periodic insurance assessments.
Contribute to the preparation of accounts payable reports.
Help in the development and updating of procedural documentation.
Support accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
Exemplify Tendit’s cultural values and maintain integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline is required.
3-5 years of experience in a comparable position.
Eligibility to work in the United States is mandatory.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Experience with various ERP systems and accounting software is essential, with a preference for Netsuite.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required.
Exceptional interpersonal, customer service, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on process improvement.
Capability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and delegate when necessary.
Strong collaboration skills with both internal and external stakeholders, coupled with a desire to understand the business.
Ability to swiftly adapt to changes in the work environment.
A commitment to learning and a desire to progress in the accounting field.
