Responsibilities
- Maintain accounting records for multiple clients on monthly accounting, financial reporting and cost records
- Ensure allocation and proper classification of cost records in accordance with federal regulations and standards
- Work closely with clients to advise on the preparation of DCAA audits and FAR regulations
- Responsible for the monthly financial reporting and transactional accounting (AP/AR; cash flow; general ledger; reconciliations; payroll)
- Ownership of the cost accounting including indirect rate calculations, burden, labor costs and COGS
- Reviews work of staff account to confirm completeness and accuracy
Requirements
- Bachelors' degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Minimum of 3 years' experience working with federal governmental accounting & regulations (DCAA or FAR)
Salary range up to $95k-$110k + excellent benefits and work-life balance
