Clinical Nurse Coordinator Med Surg

The Clinical Nurse Coordinator is a registered nurse who provides high-quality patient care and coordinates the delivery of nursing services in the Med Surg department at North Suburban Medical Center. This role requires strong organizational and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care and coordinate the delivery of nursing services in the Med Surg department
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
- Manage patient flow and prioritize tasks to ensure efficient use of time and resources
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
- Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification
- Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing; BSN desirable
- Two to four years acute care/specialty nursing experience desirable
- Ability to articulate and demonstrate knowledge of nursing theory and practice
