Job Description: The School Nurse will play a critical role in supporting the health and wellness of our students. This includes providing routine and emergency medical care, developing individualized health plans, and collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to students, including administering medications and performing routine health checks
  • Develop and implement individualized health plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers and parents to address health-related concerns and develop strategies for improvement
  • Maintain accurate and confidential student health records
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices and policies

Requirements:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license from the Texas Board of Nursing
  • CPR Certification
  • 1 year of nursing experience in a school setting or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience
