Medical Assistant

About the Role
  • Assist with examinations and treatments under the direction of a registered nurse or provider
  • Interview patients, measure vital signs, and record information on patients' charts
  • Prepare treatment rooms for examination of patients
  • Perform basic clerical duties, including answering the phone and maintaining records
  • Assist with maintaining a clean and orderly environment
Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Assist with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse
  • Perform select clinical duties
  • Transcribe patient orders, including laboratory tests, radiology tests, and medications
  • Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • No experience required
Physical Requirements
  • Constant standing and walking
  • Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication
  • Frequent use of vision for distances near and far
