Position Overview:
We are seeking a Senior Financial Auditor to enhance our Audit & Assurance division. This role is pivotal in supporting our clients across various sectors.

Your Responsibilities:
As a senior audit professional, you will:

  • Provide expert audit guidance to a diverse client base, including SMEs and large corporations.
  • Lead and oversee audit projects, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, fostering strong relationships.
  • Independently manage significant audit assignments, including:
    • Conducting and coordinating financial audits for medium to large enterprises, preparing advisory letters, and engaging with management.
    • Developing audit programs and planning audits in collaboration with responsible managers.
    • Auditing financial information for works councils and preparing necessary documentation.
    • Advising on administrative organization and internal control procedures.
    • Assisting in the preparation of consolidated annual accounts, tax returns, and legal assignments.
    • Staying updated on the latest technologies to enhance operational efficiency, supported by our BDO Academy for continuous professional development.

Your Qualifications:

  • A degree in Economics or a related field, with a Master's in Applied Ergonomics, Commercial Sciences, or Engineering, ideally supplemented by a postgraduate qualification in Financial Economics.
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in auditing.
  • Fluency in Dutch, French, and English, both written and spoken.
  • Proficient in IT, particularly MS Office applications.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with a proactive and service-oriented mindset.
  • A dynamic personality with a strong business acumen and growth potential.
