Key Responsibilities:

Financial Transactions:

  • Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts.
  • Process accounts payable transactions and assist with accounts receivable as necessary.
  • Prepare and record journal entries.
Financial Reporting:
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
  • Generate financial reports and analyses to aid in decision-making.
Account Reconciliation:
  • Conduct bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in financial records.
Compliance and Controls:
  • Ensure adherence to accounting principles and regulations.
  • Support audits by providing necessary documentation.
Expense Tracking and Analysis:
  • Monitor and analyze expenses against budget, including credit card transactions.
  • Assist in cost control and financial forecasting.
Process Improvement:
  • Identify and implement opportunities for accounting process enhancements.
  • Contribute to the development of accounting systems and procedures.
Support and Collaboration:
  • Work with other departments to resolve financial issues.
  • Assist in tax filings and preparation of financial statements.
