As a mechanical assembler, you will play a pivotal role in the assembly and production of our diverse product line. From vacuum and refined fuel trucks to waste oil collection, water spray vehicles, and dump trucks, your expertise will contribute to delivering high-quality, reliable vehicles to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand and pneumatic tools proficiently to assemble, wire, and install components in accordance with assembly books and engineered drawings.
- Install a variety of components, including PTO's, pumps, hydraulics, valves, toolboxes, wire harnesses, fuses, and switches, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
- Follow written directions, schematics, and verbal instructions meticulously to execute assembly tasks accurately.
- Gather and position materials and parts according to assembly documentation, maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.
- Safely operate a range of equipment, including hand and pneumatic tools, material handling equipment, and overhead cranes.
- Conduct thorough inspections of completed work to identify and rectify any defects, ensuring that all equipment meets stringent quality standards.
- Adhere to safety regulations at all times, including the proper use of protective gear such as gloves, eyewear, and safety shoes.
- Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisors to support team objectives and meet production goals.
Requirements:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in 12V electrical systems.
- Ownership of a basic set of hand tools for use in assembly tasks.
- Previous experience in manufacturing environments is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and accurately.
