A Career at Carter Lumber
As one of our Delivery Specialists, you will play a crucial role in ensuring timely delivery of orders to customers using a company vehicle.
You will be responsible for meeting daily delivery schedules while providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that deliveries are handled with care and professionalism.
Job Responsibilities
- Transporting orders to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Maintaining daily delivery schedules
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
Requirements
- Previous experience in delivery, preferably with building materials, furniture, appliances, or large items
- An acceptable driving record (some states require a specific license)
- Familiarity with building materials and delivery equipment is preferred
- Ability to be a team player
- A friendly, customer-service-driven personality
Compensation and Benefits
As a full-time employee, you can expect a competitive salary range of $40,000-$60,000 per year, depending on location and experience, along with various benefits, including:
