Surgical Tech Professional for a Dynamic OR Environment

We are seeking an experienced Certified Operating Room (OR) Technician to join our surgical services team at Cynet Health. This 13-week assignment offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.

As a Surgical Tech Professional, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures, preparing operating rooms, and ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are available. Your experience and expertise will be essential in maintaining a safe and efficient surgical environment.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Tech, with a strong background in pediatric surgery, particularly in neurology and orthopedics. Certification is preferred but not mandatory. We also require that you have a valid State License and are willing to complete mandatory modules within the first week of your assignment.

You must be able to rotate or float per unit needs and adapt to varying shift schedules, which may include 8-10 hour shifts. Strong communication skills and flexibility are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you will need to be compliant with all hospital policies and procedures, including COVID-19 vaccination and booster requirements.

This assignment offers a competitive estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 based on national averages for similar positions in Washington, DC. We offer a return staff policy for previous employees of the hospital and flexible availability for weekend and holiday rotations.
